I love receiving presents – who doesn’t? We buy ourselves ‘gifts’ every time we buy something super nice like a new pair of shoes, a dress or make-up. But how nice wouldn’t it be to receive a box every month, filled with goodies that are a complete surprise?
Thats exactly what Into The Box is all about. Its a brand new subscription service that delivers a box full of hand selected, gorgeous, surprise goodies to your door.
I received my November box this week and was truly impressed. First of all it smelt incredible thanks to the Oatmeal and Lavender Olive Oil Soap. I’m a huge fan of proteas so the printed tea towel by Lichen and Leaf is already a favourite. The A5 Doodle book by aLoveSupreme has already been claimed by the teenager in the house and the Nougat and Marshmallow Toffee by Sweet Temptations were gobbled up on arrival.
What I love about Into The Box is how they support local brands. In just one box I have learnt about 4 great companies I didn’t know about and would love to order from again. All boxes contain 5 to 6 products and are full size products – no samples. And the value of the box will always exceed what you have paid for it. They also cleverly do little ‘teaser campaigns’ on Instagram during the month leading up to you receiving your gift box, as can be seen by their Instagram feeds below.
There are different types of subscription plans that you can sign up for. The December Original box is R299.95. There is also a December Limited Edition Box available at R499.95. This box will contain everything in the Original Box plus more, and is valued at over R700. Or you can do a 3 month subscription for December, January and February Original boxes for R899.85, or for R1059.95 you get the December Limited Edition Box and January and February Original boxes. All prices exclude delivery.
I think this is such a lovely idea to give as a Christmas present. It would be such fun to still be opening presents in February! Hint to anyone out there who loves me…I’ve ordered my December box, and look forward to receiving it the first week of December.
